Once a plan is built, it goes through two quick steps before the job can be scheduled. First the planner submits the plan for review. Then a reviewer opens it, checks it over, and approves it. This page walks through both sides.
Submitting and approving are separate actions, often done by different people. The planner submits; a reviewer approves. If you do both yourself, just follow the page top to bottom.

Submit a plan for review

When a plan is ready, you submit it from the Job Planner screen. You can get there from the Job Plan tab on the job’s project page by choosing Continue Planning (or Create Plan if you’re starting fresh).

Make sure the plan is complete

The Submit Plan button only turns on once everything the plan needs is in place. Until then it stays greyed out. To make it active:
1

Clear the Important Notices

If the job has crew notes, open the Important Notices section and confirm them. The plan can’t be submitted while a notice is still waiting to be acknowledged.
2

Add at least one day

A plan needs at least one day. Each day must be filled out completely — its sections should all be marked done.
3

Assign all the work

Every work order item has to be fully allocated across your plan days. If any quantity is left over, the plan isn’t ready and submitting is blocked.
4

Request your crew

Make sure at least one crew member is requested for the work.
Not ready to submit? Use Save Draft (shown as Save as draft on mobile) at any time. Your work is kept and the plan stays a draft, so you can come back and finish later.

Click Submit Plan

When everything checks out, the Submit Plan button becomes active.
1

Press Submit Plan

Press Submit Plan. On mobile it’s the button at the bottom of the screen.
2

Confirmation

The plan is saved and sent for review, and you’re taken back to your jobs list.
After submitting, the job moves to Pending Review and the plan shows as Plan Complete, along with who submitted it and when. From here it’s the reviewer’s turn.
If something’s still missing, submitting will tell you exactly what to fix — for example, a remaining quantity to allocate, an unconfirmed crew note, or a missing crew member. Resolve the message and try again.

Review and approve a plan

A submitted plan waits for a reviewer to approve it. Reviewing is done from the jobs list.
1

Find the job

In your jobs list, look for jobs in the Pending Review stage. You can filter to that stage using the tabs at the top of the list.
2

Open Review Plan

A job that’s waiting on you shows a Review Plan action. Choose it to open the plan.
3

Look the plan over

The plan opens in a read-only view that shows Submitted By and the date. Read through the days, the work that’s been assigned, and the requested crew. If something needs changing, choose Edit Plan to open it for edits.

Approve the plan

When the plan looks good, you sign off by moving the job forward to the next stage.
1

Open the status selector

On the job in your jobs list, open the status control next to the job (it shows the current stage, Pending Review).
2

Set it to Requires Scheduling

Choose Requires Scheduling. This advances the job past review.
3

Confirmation

You’ll see a short confirmation that the status was updated. The job is now in Requires Scheduling; the plan itself keeps showing Plan Complete, with who submitted it and when.
Changing a job’s stage is permission-controlled. If the status control is unavailable for you, your team’s setup doesn’t allow you to advance this job — ask whoever handles approvals for your branch.
Once the job is in Requires Scheduling, it’s ready for scheduling. Its action becomes Schedule Job, and the plan is the basis for the work.
