The Dashboard is Meni’s home in Menaia. It brings together the things Meni noticed that need your attention, your daily briefing, drafts waiting for your approval, and the live charts and reports you’ve pinned from your conversations with Meni.

Who sees the Dashboard

Open Dashboard from the Main section of the sidebar. It’s there for Admins, Ops Managers, Crew Leaders, and Crew Members, and also for Sales Admins and Sales Members when the sales overview is turned on for your workspace. Client Coordinators don’t have it. When Meni has drafts waiting for you, a number next to Dashboard in the sidebar shows how many.
The Dashboard only appears when the full Meni assistant is turned on for you. The attention list, briefing, approvals, playbooks, and watch rules sections also need Meni automations to be on for your workspace — without them, the Dashboard shows just your pinned views. If you don’t see something described here, it isn’t turned on for your workspace. See Feature availability.

The top of the page

The header shows today’s date and a greeting. Below it is a one-line headline from today’s morning briefing, or “Here’s where things stand across your workspace.” if there isn’t one yet. Three buttons open Meni for you:
  • Ask Meni — opens the chat panel. See Ask Meni.
  • What needs my attention? — asks Meni to pull together what needs you right now.
  • Build a dashboard — asks Meni to suggest a few live views it could build and pin for you, based on your data.

Needs your attention

Needs your attention lists signals — things Meni spotted that probably need someone to act. The most urgent ones are listed first, and the count sits next to the title. The first six show by default; click Show all to see the rest. You only see signals about data your role can see. Built-in checks include: Meni also adds signals when one of your watch rules fires, and when it discovers something unusual in your data on its own.

Work a signal

Click a signal to expand it. You’ll see the details and chips for the records involved — click a chip to open that record. Then:
  • Meni looked into this — for many signals, Meni investigates in the background and writes up what it found. Click Show more to read the full write-up, click a suggested question to ask it in the chat, or click Review next to a suggested action to open it in Meni for approval. Click Reinvestigate to have Meni look again.
  • Ask Meni — opens the chat with the signal already described, so Meni can explain what’s behind it.
  • Keep watching this — on signals Meni discovered, turns the finding into a watch rule for you to review.
  • Snooze — hide the signal for 1 day or 1 week.
  • Dismiss — remove it from the list.

Morning briefing

When Meni has written today’s briefing for you, the Morning briefing card shows a few short sections with links to the records they mention, marked Written by Meni. The briefing is personal and is refreshed each day.

Waiting for you

Waiting for you lists drafts your playbooks prepared for your approval. Each row shows what Meni wants to do, a short summary, and when it was drafted.
  • Approve — carry it out. Approving a follow-up email asks you to confirm first: “This will email … right away. It can’t be unsent.” Click Send email to send it.
  • Reject — discard the draft.
  • Details — open the full draft. You can edit an email before approving, and see How Meni got here: what set it off, what Meni looked up, and what it drafted.
For more room to work through a long list, use the queue on the Automations page.

Playbooks and On watch

  • Playbooks lists your playbooks with whether each is Active or Paused and what triggers it. Use the … menu to Pause, Resume, or Delete one, or click Manage to go to the Automations page.
  • On watch lists your watch rules with their status and what makes them fire. Click Manage to pause, rename, or delete them.
See Automations for how both work.

Pinned views

Any chart, KPI, or table Meni builds in the chat has a Pin button. Pinned views appear under Your dashboards. They’re personal — only you see your pins — and you can keep up to 30.
1

Ask Meni for a view

For example: “Chart completed jobs by crew over the last month.”
2

Click Pin on the card in the chat. The button changes to Pinned.
3

Find it on your Dashboard

The view appears under Your dashboards and refreshes with fresh data when you open the Dashboard.
On the Dashboard, each pinned card lets you:
  • Reorder — drag the handle next to the title, or use Move up and Move down in the … menu.
  • Open — click the title or the arrow to open the view’s own page. Clicking a bar or slice on a chart opens the view page with the records behind it.
  • Unpin — from the … menu.

The view page

The view page shows one pinned view full size, with more controls:
  • Rename view — click the pencil next to the title, type a new name, and press Enter.
  • Time range — switch between 7D, 30D, 90D, and 12M.
  • Granularity — group by Day, Week, Month, or Quarter.
  • Refresh — on a live view, reload the data now.
  • Ask Meni — opens the chat to walk you through the view and suggest ways to refine it.
  • Unpin — asks you to confirm, then removes the view. You can always rebuild and re-pin it with Meni.
When you change the time range or granularity, the page shows Previewing — not saved. Click Save to keep the new settings, or Reset to go back. Clicking a selected option again clears it. Some views are built from summary totals, so the time controls don’t apply to them. A How this view is built strip shows the data the view pulls from, the steps applied to it, and the charts or tables it shows.

Drill into the records

On the view page, click a bar, slice, or KPI tile to open a side panel with the records behind this number. If nothing in the current time range adds up to that value, the panel says so.

View status

Under the title, a status tells you how current the view is:
A live view always runs with your current permissions, so it never shows you data your role can’t see.

Workspace data views for Admins

When it’s turned on for your workspace, Admins can ask Meni for charts and reports on nearly anything in the workspace — including text messages, calls, and voicemails — not just the standard lists like leads, estimates, and jobs. These views show Workspace data as their source. They pin and refresh like any other view, and they re-check your permissions each time they run. If you’re no longer an Admin, the view shows Access blocked.

Getting started

If you have no pinned views, no signals, and no briefing yet, the Dashboard shows Ask Meni your first question with a few examples to try:
  • Show me leads by owner this month
  • Which invoices are overdue, and by how much?
  • Chart completed jobs by crew over the last month
Click one to ask Meni, then pin the answers you like — they become your Dashboard. A link at the bottom points to the Automations page, where you can have Meni watch numbers and draft follow-ups. When Meni automations aren’t on for your workspace, an empty Dashboard shows No pinned views yet with an Ask Meni button instead.
