An inspection report is one of the forms your team fills out on a job to record what you found on site. You complete it right from the Forms tab on the job’s project page: pick the form, answer the questions, attach any photos, and save. Once saved, it becomes a completed report you (and your team) can reopen, edit, or remove.
The exact form, its name, and its questions are set up for your branch, so what you see may differ from the examples here. The steps for completing and saving it are the same.

Open the Forms tab

1

Open the job

Go to Jobs from the main navigation and click the job you’re inspecting. It opens the client’s project page on the Overview tab.
2

Switch to Forms

In the row of tabs across the top of the project, click Forms. This is where every report for the job lives.

Start the report

What you see first depends on whether anything has been filled out for this job yet.
  • Nothing completed yet — you’ll see a message that reads “No forms have been completed yet.” with a prompt to choose a form below to get started.
  • Reports already exist — you’ll see your completed reports listed, with a form picker in the top-right corner.
Either way, the next step is the same.
1

Open the form picker

Click Select Form. A list of the forms available for your branch drops down.
2

Choose the inspection report

Pick the form you want from the list. It opens in a window ready for you to fill in.
If the picker reads “No forms available” and won’t open, there are no forms set up for your branch yet. Reach out to whoever manages your branch settings.

Fill it in

The form opens in a window titled with the report’s name. Work down the fields and answer each one. Required fields must be filled in before you can save — if you miss one, the form points it out when you try to save.

Add photos

Some inspection reports ask for photos of what you found. When a field asks for images, you have two ways to add them.
  • Upload new images — drop in (or choose) photos straight from your device. On a phone you can snap a photo on the spot.
  • Select Existing — pick from photos already attached to this job’s project. A picker opens; tap each image you want (a checkmark marks your choices), use Load More if there are more to scroll through, then choose Done.
To remove a photo you added by mistake, use the remove control on its thumbnail.

Save the report

When everything’s filled in, click the save button at the bottom of the form (it’s usually labeled Save Form, though your branch may name it something else). You’ll see a brief “Saving…” while it goes through, then a confirmation that the form has been saved. The window closes and your report now appears in the list.
Save the report before leaving the page. Closing the window without saving means your answers aren’t kept.

Review, edit, or remove a completed report

Every saved report shows up as a card on the Forms tab, marked with a green check and showing who created it and the date. From a card you can:
  • Edit — click the pencil to reopen the report with your earlier answers already filled in. Make your changes and save again to update it.
  • Delete — click the trash icon to remove the report. You’ll be asked to confirm with Delete Form; this can’t be undone, so only delete a report you’re sure you don’t need. (The delete option only appears if you’re allowed to remove reports.)
When a job has many completed reports, use the page controls at the bottom of the list to move between pages.
