A Customer Review is the star rating a customer gives for the work on their project, plus an optional link to the public review they left online. You record it from the customer’s project, and it stays attached to that customer and project. Capturing reviews is how great work gets noticed — a strong rating becomes part of your team’s recognition and shows the crew their work paid off.
You don’t write the review yourself — you record what the customer said. The rating is from 0 to 5 stars, and the link points to the customer’s public review (for example, the one they left on Google).

Where to find it

You add or update a customer review from the customer’s project. The review controls sit in the top row of the project, next to the tabs — a row of stars with an Add Review (or Edit) link. You don’t need to wait for the project to have a job or for a job to finish.
If you can see the rating but can’t change it, your role has view-only access to customer reviews. You’ll still see the stars and, if one was added, the review link.

Record a review

1

Open the customer's project

From the customer’s project, look at the row along the top, next to the tabs. You’ll see a row of stars and a link that reads Add Review (or Edit if a rating is already there).
2

Set the rating

Click a star to set the rating from 1 to 5. A small panel opens so you can add the review link in the same place. To clear a rating you set by mistake, click the same star again to set it back to empty.
3

Add the link and save

Paste the review link into the Review URL box and click Save. While it’s saving the button reads Saving…, and a check mark appears when it’s done. Close the panel with the X when you’re finished.
A valid link is the full web address of the customer’s public review. If you paste something that isn’t a usable link, the field flags it and keeps your text so you can fix it — nothing is lost.
There’s only ever one rating per project, shared by every job on that project.

Tips for clean reviews

Set the rating as soon as you hear it from the customer, while the details are fresh. You can always update it later if the customer revises their feedback.
  • Only record real customer feedback. The rating should reflect what the customer actually said, not your own opinion of the work.
  • Always include the link when there is one. A public review link lets others confirm the rating and see the customer’s own words.
  • Clearing the rating clears the panel. If you set the rating back to empty, the link field is cleared too — set a rating first, then add the link.

What happens next

A recorded customer review travels with the customer’s project, so anyone who opens it later can see how the work landed. Strong reviews are part of how good work gets surfaced and celebrated across your team’s recognition — the better your crew does for customers, the more it shows.
