Branch reviews are the customer testimonials that appear on the proposals you send out. Each one shows a star rating, what the customer said, and who said it. They live with your Proposals settings and are managed one branch at a time, so every branch can show off its own happy customers.
Branch reviews are managed in Workspace Settings, so you’ll need an account that can manage settings for your workspace (typically an admin or manager).

Where branch reviews show up

When a proposal goes out, it includes a short “Join thousands of happy customers” section with up to two reviews for that branch. Each review displays:
  • The star rating (1 to 5 stars)
  • The review text — what the customer said about the work
  • The author and their location (for example, Jane Doe, Austin, TX)
Keeping a few strong reviews on file gives every proposal instant credibility.

Open the branch reviews list

1

Go to Proposals settings

From Settings, open Proposals. The page is titled Proposals with the note “Tailor your proposal settings for each branch.”
2

Open the Customer Reviews tab

Along the top you’ll see the proposal tabs — Proposal Content, Financing Terms, Customer Reviews, and Payment Methods. Click Customer Reviews.
3

Pick the branch

If your workspace has more than one branch, use the branch selector in the top-right to choose which branch you’re editing. Reviews are saved per branch, so make sure you’re on the right one before you add or change anything.
The branch you’re working on carries over as you switch between the proposal tabs, so you can set up content, financing, reviews, and payment methods for one branch in a single pass.

Add a review

1

Click Create New

On the Customer Reviews tab, click Create New to open the Create Customer Review form.
2

Set the star rating

In Stars, enter a rating from 1 to 5. This controls how many filled stars appear on the proposal.
3

Enter the author

In Author, type the name the review should appear under — for example, Jane Doe. This is the name customers will see.
4

Enter the location

In Location, add where the customer is — for example, Austin, TX. It shows next to the author’s name.
5

Write the review text

In Description, paste or type what the customer said about your work. This is the main body of the review.
6

Save it

Click Create. The review is added to the list and becomes available to show on that branch’s proposals.
All four fields — stars, author, location, and description — are required, and the Create button stays disabled until they’re all filled in correctly. There are length limits on the author, location, and review text; if you go over, you’ll be asked to shorten it.

Find and search reviews

The Customer Reviews tab lists every review for the selected branch, with columns for Author, Stars, Description, and Location. To narrow things down:
  • Use the Search by name box at the top to find a review by its author.
  • Click the Author, Stars, or Location column headers to sort the list.
If the list says “No customer reviews found,” either this branch has no reviews yet or your search didn’t match anything. Clear the search box or click Create New to add your first one.

Edit a review

1

Open the review

Find the review in the list and click the pencil (edit) icon on its row. On a phone, tap the three-dots menu and choose Edit.
2

Make your changes

The Edit Customer Review form opens with the current stars, author, location, and text already filled in. Update whatever you need.
3

Save your changes

Click Save Changes. The button only enables once you’ve actually changed something, so you can’t save an unedited review by accident.

Remove a review

1

Start the delete

On the review’s row, click the trash (delete) icon. On a phone, tap the three-dots menu and choose Delete.
2

Confirm

A confirmation appears: the review from that author “will be removed and will no longer appear on new proposals.” Click Delete to confirm.
Deleting a review can’t be undone, and it only affects new proposals going forward — proposals you’ve already sent keep the reviews they were created with.

Tips for great branch reviews

Only the first couple of reviews show on a proposal, so lead with your strongest ones. Short, specific, five-star reviews that name a real result tend to land best.
  • Keep each branch’s reviews local to that branch’s customers — it feels more genuine to the people reading the proposal.
  • Refresh them now and then so your proposals always reflect recent, relevant work.
  • Double-check the author and location spelling before saving; that small detail is what makes a review feel real.
