# Trust center

> See where your workspace's texting and caller ID registrations stand with the phone carriers, and take the one action each registration needs: file again, register your local numbers, or choose your caller ID name.

The **Trust center** shows where your workspace stands with the phone carriers: whether your numbers are approved to send texts, and whether your calls show up as verified with your business name. Each registration covers your whole workspace, not one person or one line, so they all live on this one page instead of on a number's own settings.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The Trust center is part of Settings, which only **Admins** can open. To find it, open **Settings** from the main navigation and choose **Trust center** under **General**. You can also get here from **Registration details** on the inbox's registration notice, and from **Change it in the Trust center** on a line's **General** tab.

## Before your phone is set up

Nothing is filed with the carriers until your workspace sets up its phone. Until then, the page shows "No carrier registrations yet" with a **Set up texting** button that opens the phone setup wizard. See [Set up your phone](https://docs.menaia.com/guides/settings/communications.md#set-up-your-phone).

## What the page shows

Once your phone is set up, the page has one section for each registration, in this order:

| Section | What it covers |
| - | - |
| **Texting from your toll-free number** | One section for each toll-free number. Each toll-free number gets its own texting review. |
| **Texting from your local numbers** | The one registration that covers all your local numbers. The section lists them under its title (it reads **Texting from your local number** if you have one). |
| **Caller ID on all your numbers** | Whether your calls are verified, checked for spam labels, and show your business name. It covers every number you have, including ones you add later. |

Each section has a status badge in its header, a short sentence that says where it stands and what happens next, and a short list of the parts the carriers check. Hover over the info icon next to a part to see what it means.

Each part has its own badge: **Approved**, **In review**, **Not started**, or **Not approved**.

| Section | Parts it lists |
| - | - |
| Toll-free number | The number itself. The explanation sits under it. |
| Local numbers | **Business details** (your legal business name, EIN, and address) and **Campaign** (what you text customers about and how they agree to get your texts). The campaign goes to the carriers once your business details clear. |
| Caller ID | **Identity** (the carriers confirm your business), **Verified caller** (your calls carry a signature so phones can show them as verified), **Spam check** (your numbers are registered with the apps that label spam calls), and **Business name** (the name customers see when you call, shown next to it, or "No name yet"). |

## Texting statuses

The badge on a toll-free or local section tells you where texting stands:

| Status | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Setting up** | Menaia is buying your number and preparing its registration. |
| **Under review** | The carriers are reviewing your details. A local registration usually takes 10 to 15 days; a toll-free one, a few days. Your numbers make and receive calls the whole time. |
| **Approved** | Your workspace can send and receive texts from the numbers this registration covers. |
| **Not approved** | The carriers didn't approve the registration. Your numbers still make and receive calls. |
| **Needs attention** | Something went wrong before the registration reached the carriers. |
| **Not registered** | Your local numbers make and receive calls but aren't registered for texting yet. |
| **Checking** | Menaia couldn't tell where the registration stands right now. Refresh the page, and contact support if it stays this way. |

If the carriers flagged part of an application that Menaia writes for you, Menaia corrects it and files it again on its own. The section stays **Under review** and says "We corrected the application and filed it again". Nothing is needed from you.

## Caller ID statuses

| Status | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Not started** | Verified calls, the spam check, and your caller ID name haven't started yet. Your calls work the whole time. |
| **Setting up** | Starts as soon as your numbers are bought. |
| **Under review** | The carriers are working through the parts in order. Once your business is confirmed, the rest usually takes about 3 days. |
| **Needs your name** | Everything else runs on its own, but you need to choose the name customers see when you call. |
| **Verified** | Every number calls with your business name and a verified caller signature, and is checked for spam labels. |
| **Name not approved** | The carriers didn't approve the name you chose. Your calls keep showing your current name, if you have one, and stay verified. |
| **Not approved** | The carriers couldn't verify your business for caller ID. Menaia goes through it and files again. Nothing is needed from you, and your numbers keep making and receiving calls. |

## Take action on a registration

When a registration needs something, its section shows the one action to take, in the section header.

### Review and file again

This appears on a toll-free section when the carriers couldn't confirm some of your details. The section lists each detail they flagged, with a hint on what to check.

**1. Open the review**

Click **Review and file again**. The window names the number and shows the flagged details.

**2. Correct the details**

Fix what the carriers flagged. Your corrections apply to this number's registration only, and registrations that are already approved aren't filed again.

**3. File again**

Click **File again**. You see "Application filed again".

There's a limit on how many times you can file. Under the button, the section shows how many filings are left and when you last filed, for example "2 filings left · Last filed Sep 25, 2026". After a filing, the button stays unavailable for a while and the section says "You can file again at" with the time.

### Register local numbers

This appears on the local numbers section when your workspace has local numbers that aren't registered for texting, for example because it started on a toll-free number. Click **Register local numbers** to open the setup wizard for local numbers. It reuses your business details and files the local registration.

If the carriers turned down your local registration for details you can fix, the section lists what they flagged and the button reads **Register local numbers again**.

### Choose or change your caller ID name

On the caller ID section, click **Choose your caller ID name**, or **Change name** if you already have one.

**1. Enter the name**

In **Name on caller ID**, type the name customers see when you call. Use up to 15 letters, numbers, and spaces. You can also use & , . ' -. Phones show it in capital letters, where the carrier supports caller names.

**2. Send it for review**

Click **Send for review**. You see "Caller ID name sent for review".

The carriers review the name, and phones start showing it 2 to 3 days after it's approved. While a new name is under review, the section shows it as "*name* · pending" and your calls keep showing your current name. If the carriers don't approve it, pick a name closer to your legal business name and send it again.

### Contact support

When a registration wasn't approved for a reason Menaia handles, or never reached the carriers, the section says "We are on it" or explains what happened, and shows a **Contact support** link so the team can go through it with you.
