# Comment react

> Join the conversation on the Win Feed — leave a comment, reply in a thread, react with an emoji, and add a GIF or photo to celebrate your team's wins.

The **Win Feed** is where your team shares and celebrates wins. Every post can be commented on, replied to, and reacted to — so you can cheer a teammate on, ask a question, or add your own take. This guide walks through commenting and reacting, both on the feed and anywhere else comments appear (like a project).

  Reactions and comments are the quickest way to recognize good work. A single emoji takes one tap and still lets the whole team see the support.

## Leave a comment

  <Step title="Find the post or item you want to comment on">
    Open the **Win Feed** and scroll to the post you want to respond to. Comments also show up on other items in the app, like a project — the box works the same way everywhere.

  <Step title="Click the comment box">
    On a project, click the box that says **Write a comment or mention someone with @...**. On a feed post, click **Reply** to open the **Write a comment...** box. Either way, the editor opens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Type your message">
    Write what you want to say. To tag a teammate, type **@** and start typing their name, then pick them from the list that pops up — they'll get notified.

  <Step title="Send it">
    Click the **send** button (the paper-plane icon) to post your comment. You can also press **Cmd/Ctrl + Enter** to send without reaching for the mouse.

<Tip>
  Your comment shows your name and the time you posted. If you go back and change it later, a small **(edited)** tag appears next to it so the thread stays honest.
</Tip>

### Add a GIF or photo

The comment editor can carry more than text:

* **GIF** — on a feed post, click **GIF** to open the picker, search for one, and choose it. The GIF attaches to your comment and you can remove it with the small **x** before sending.
* **Attach media** — click the **image** button to add photos or videos from your device. You can attach a few per comment; if you reach the limit, the app tells you to remove one before adding another.

  On the feed, you can post a comment that's just a GIF or just a photo — you don't have to type anything alongside it.

## Reply in a thread

Comments are threaded, so replies stay grouped under the comment that started them.

    Under a comment you'll see a count with an arrow (for example, a number next to a speech-bubble icon). Click it to expand the thread and read the replies. Click again to collapse it.

  <Step title="Add your reply">
    Click **Reply** under the post to open the reply box — this also expands the thread so you can read any existing replies above it. Type your reply and send it the same way you'd post any comment — including with a mention, GIF, or photo.

<Tip>
  If a post has no replies yet, you'll see **Be the first to comment**. Jump in — early support sets the tone for the whole thread.

## Ask Meni in a thread

If your workspace has **Meni**, Menaia's AI assistant, turned on, you can ask it a question right inside a comment thread — on a project or on a feed post.

    In the comment box, type **@** and pick **Meni** from the list — it shows up alongside your teammates with the hint **Ask in this thread**. Type your question and send the comment the way you'd send any other.

  <Step title="Wait for the answer">
    Meni posts a reply in the same thread, marked with an **AI** badge and a note of who it's answering. While it works you'll see a short live status such as **Reading the thread**; its finished answer takes that spot once it's ready.

  <Step title="Ask again if it didn't finish">
    If Meni couldn't finish, its reply shows the problem with an **Ask again** button. The person who asked (or an Admin) can click it to re-run the answer in place.

<Note>
  Meni's answer is a normal comment that everyone with access to the thread can read. The person who asked (or an Admin) can delete Meni's answer, but no one — not even an Admin — can edit it.

## React with an emoji

Reactions let you respond without typing a word.

  <Step title="Give a quick thumbs-up">
    Click the **Like** button (the thumbs-up icon) under a comment or post. That's the fastest way to show support.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a different emoji">
    For something other than a thumbs-up, click the **Add reaction** button (the smiley-with-a-plus icon). A small picker opens with options like **Thumbs Up**, **Heart**, **Smiley**, **Party**, **Clap**, **Fire**, **Eyes**, and **Checkmark**. Click the one you want.
  </Step>

  <Step title="See and change reactions">
    Each emoji that's been used shows up as a badge with a running count. Hover over a badge to see who reacted — names are listed, with a **+ N others** line if there are more than a handful.

<Tip>
  Reactions are a toggle. Click a badge you've already added to remove your reaction, or tap a different emoji to switch. Your own reactions are highlighted so you can tell at a glance which ones are yours.

## Edit or delete

Made a typo, or want to take something back?

    Click the **three-dots** menu in the top corner of your comment or post.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Edit or Delete">
    Pick **Edit** to reopen your message in the editor and make changes, then send again. Pick **Delete** to remove it. (On feed posts these read **Edit Post** and **Delete Post**.)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm a delete">
    Deleting asks you to confirm — you'll see **Delete comment** and a warning that the action can't be undone. Click **Delete** to finish, or **Cancel** to keep it.

<Note>
  You can edit and delete your own comments. The option to delete only appears when you're allowed to remove that comment, so you won't see it on everyone's posts.
